Award-winning author, Allie Harrison writes stories geared to keep the reader on the edge of the seat. From ghosts to serial killers to serial killer ghosts, she weaves stories of paranormal and suspense. Her story will take you to a small, seemingly harmless town, or a haunted house, or into the bunker belonging to a secret covert team of rescuers. And you’ll be sure to meet strong characters who will lead you on a twisted road perhaps through the dark, foggy woods or down the equally dark cellar stairs.

Although some of Allie’s books are series, all of Allie Harrison’s books are stand-alone stories. Enjoy.
And don’t be afraid…

After a horrific trauma, Clare needs a new start and comes into an inheritance. A distant uncle has willed her Camden Place in the middle of Charleston. And as she walksthrough the old-fashioned hallways, she smells freshly baked apple pie, and gets glimpses of ghostly beings, including one wearing a top hat and clutching a bloody knife. And as she sits at the piano and plays it, suddenly the ghosts around her seem more real than ghosts, especially dashing Liam Camden, who originally built theCamden Place. She finds herself falling quickly in love with him, and wishing to stay in the past, where she finally feels at home.

As other reviewers pointed out, this really isn’t a thriller, horror-type book. This reallyshould have been classified as a historical romance. It’s along the lines of the
Christopher Reeve movie Somewhere in Time or even Outlander or Kate & Leopold with a character from the modern time suddenly finding themselves in the past to fall in love. This is a time travel romance with a dash of ghosts and a murder or two that aren’t really the focus. Personally, I was okay with that. I’m not really a horror type. I was looking for a paranormal romance where the girl falls in love with a ghost. Granted, Liam really wasn’t a ghost, at least not for most of the book. He was warm and solid as Clare was always describing him. I am a fan of historical romances, too, so I wasn’t that unhappy when this ended up mostly in that category. I loved the reactions to Clare’s modern technology and knowledge from the future. And I loved the romance between Clare and Liam. And I loved the setting of Charleston. I keep seeing it more and more in indie books these days, making me really itch to visit there some day. I did wonder though at Clare seeing the man with the knife in the first chapter and then really not mentioning him or worrying about it until rather late into the book. The resolution felt cliched. But I did tear up during the ending. I picked this book up without reading any others in the series, and it is indeed a stand-alone.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I have to say I was very
impressed. It is about a woman named Tess who has the gift to touch the dead and see their last moments before death. Jake is a homicide detective whom she assists to solve murders. When Tess touches a woman who Jake thinks is the result of a serial killer, she is pulled in deeper than ever before. With the help of Dr Adams she is able to stay grounded. But will this be enough? With the killer getting closer Tess gets deeper. Will she be able to find him and save his next victims? Or will he find her and kill her too?

This book was steady paced and exciting. The characters had wonderful charisma and interaction. I got lost in the story, unable to put it down. This book is a paranormal mystery romance. It is a page turner that will keep you wondering what will happen next. This book has the great potential of becoming a series. I am definitely interested in reading more from this author.

This is my first book by This author. I loved it. At first I got confused when the chapters went to different people but I soon caught on to why it was that way. Ellie just wants to live a normal life and raise her son. Since her husband died when she was pregnant it left her a single mom. When she goes to the bank before work things get chaotic. The bank gets robbed. One caring bank robber helped her in a difficult time. Gil with his green eyes is so dreamy. Can he be one of the bank robbers? Ellie has her suspicions.

Wow!!! This book was amazing. Loved it.

Another amazing book by an amazing author. I love her writing style and she always has such strong characters, which have great stories of their own. This book is about John who is recovering from a gunshot wound and Abigial who has deep issues of her own. John was the leader of a covert team. Abigail owns a coffee shop. When they meet sparks fly, but can John open his heart to her or anyone for that matter? Abigail was abused and hurt deeply, can she let the pain go to be with John?

Another outstanding book from an amazing author. I have read a few of her books and she never fails to blow me away. Honestly I don't think she could write a bad book. And I will grab any book she writes as soon as it is out. This book was about a dark mystery that has haunted a small town for years. After a dance a young girl was murdered. 11 years later Mac comes back to town to solve this murder and save his town. People wouldn't even go to the tunnel where she was murdered. Mac runs into Lizzie his high school girlfriend. From the first meeting I knew there was still something between them. As they both try to find out what really happened that night. Things start happening....

This author pulls you into her stories. She makes you feel like you are there. It takes a special author to pull that off. Can Mac and Lizzie find answers? Can they make a life together? Or will secrets be the end of them both??

Small Town Storm

In this storm, lightning will strike twice. While the storm of the decade is beating down on the small town of Mossy Point, Chief of Police 'Mac' McLane has his hands full.

Two young people are missing.

One of his trusted friends just lied to him.

A young woman has mysteriously acquired new jewelry and can't seem to get her story straight about the bruises on her throat.

How can Mac keep his town or the love of his life safe when streets are under water,
trees are down, and it's going to be a while before power is restored?
And it seems there's no end to the storm...
This is a stand alone story. While this has some of the same characters as Small Town Secrets, reading Secrets is not required.

Small Town Storm by Allie Harrison blew me away. Lightning really does strike twice and this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Once I picked this book up, I couldn't put it down. I had to keep turning the page to see what would happen next.

Well written with amazing character, the story flowed and made me anxious as I read it. Don't worry, I don't mean in a bad way. It was great and I can't wait to read all of the other books by this author. I will say that this is the second book of a series, but it can be read as a standalone.

This book is a must read. 5 stars and I highly recommend one clicking this book today!
